The Haifa Museum of Art collection online was inaugurated in December 2007, in conjunction with the new Haifa Museums website. The online collection features about 250 works from the collection of the Haifa Museum of Art, which encompasses about 7,500 items. The works that appear online represent the numerous facets of the Museum collection - including oil paintings by veteran Israeli artists; sculptures and installations created by Israeli artists during the 1970s; works on paper by international artists; video works; and works by young Israeli artists, which were recently acquired for the collection as part of the Museum's Acquisition Program. A search for works in the online collection may be conducted using one of two search engines: by artist's name or by medium. You are also welcome to enter the archive of the New Media Center - a unique HMA project dedicated to the collection and conservation of video works.
